See Our Impact

As you may have seen in your First Year Review, over the past year we have been able to impact the lives of 18 people.  We donate money to job creation programs through See Your Impact when employers post full-time paid positions on Give To Get Jobs.  We were able to help 18 people because of the postings made by these stellar social enterprises:

BBMG
Fireign United
The Motellus Group (Mobile Accord + mGive)
Warby Parker
Lotsa Helping Hands
Runa
REDF
Yellow 108
Dogeared Jewelry & Gifts
IDEX Fellowship (Gray Ghost Ventures + Gray Matters Capital Foundation)
Counterweight Productions
The Hub LA
GBCHealth
AIAG
Catchafire
Intersection for the Arts
Emerge Workplace Solutions
VisionSpring
The LFA Group

These social enterprises are not only giving back through their own business models, but they are giving back by posting on Give To Get Jobs as well.  The reason we are able to give is because they give.

We give through the non-profit See Your Impact.  See Your Impact is a revolutionary way to make a small, tax-deductible donation that can change someone’s life forever.  When you give, you receive a photo and story about the person you helped.  These stories get uploaded to our campaign page.

These are the causes we are currently supporting:

Job Training Give job training – triple a family’s income!
Provide a month of job training and increase a family’s income. We’ll combine your gift with 5 others to train a student for 1 year!
Low Income Teens Provide drop out prevention for low-income teens
Support a low-income student in GRuB’s Employment & Drop-out Prevention Program. Your gift will be combined with 4 others to support a student for a week.
Child of Migrant Laborer Send the child of a migrant laborer to school for a month
Provide a month of tuition for the child of a migrant laborer in India. We’ll combine your gift with 11 others to support a child for a year.

Employers choose the cause they would like to support when they check out on Give To Get Jobs.

This month we are going to be publishing the letters we have received from each of the 18 people we have impacted.
